It’s Mayweather! Yes, Floyd Mayweather Jr beat Juan Manual Marquez in 2 rounds! Mayweather was to pay Marquez for $600,000 though for coming in at 146 pounds. The two has signed a contract earlier this May 2009 to limit weights at 147 pounds maximum but with a special clause that for every pound in excess of 144, there is an equal penalty.
Mayweather is taller and bigger than Marquez, and many see the fight as one-sided.
After 21 months of retirement, Mayweather has comeback, with the goal to retain the title and prove that he is the world’s reigning best pound for pound fighter. This “title” has been given to Filipino champ Manny Pacquiao in his recent feats. It is believed that Mayweather’s next pick is Pacquiao to settle who is the world’s best pound for pound fighter.
